Goodbye Chickens

We never planned on killing our chickens when we first got them. We named them (sting, jamrock, and usher)  and now after almost 3 years they no longer lay eggs and eat tons !!! So we called my parents over to show us how to do it...it was not as horrible as i thought it would be and it may be the best teamwork we have done in years ...haha  I learned how to clean and cut a chicken . I used 2 o0f them for a huge pot of/ chicken broth.I also used carrots and celery from our garden....I canned 16 jars of this and we used the last chicken for a chicken soup that is still cooking in the crockpot.

 

I also made curried green zebra tomatoes
